Join us for a stroll around the family-friendly accessible .6-mile paved lake trail (as many laps as you want)! Looking for more adventure? We will also explore the just-under-half-mile nature trail on the north side of County Park Road, if weather permits.

Join us for a stroll around the department’s headquarters! Choose the family-friendly accessible paved trails or the gravel/wood chip trails! Meet at the back of the first parking lot on the right after the entrance.
January 14, 2026 – Monthly Meeting

Join us for our monthly meeting. All are welcome! Last Flight Brewing Co. is located at 738 Heisinger Road. Meeting will be outside if weather permits.
February 1, 2026 – Community Hike
1:30 pm, Creek Trail Drive Greenway
Join us for a family-friendly accessible hike on the new greenway segment! Hike is less than a mile, but adding more is possible if the weather permits! Meet at the front parking lot closest to the street at 2511 W. Edgewood Drive.
March 8, 2026 – Community Hike
1:30 pm, Washington Park Greenway
Join us on a family-friendly accessible hike to explore the greenway areas around Washington Park! Plan to hike about 1 – 1.5 miles. Meet at the tennis courts parking lots. Turn off Missouri Boulevard onto Michigan Street, and then turn right into the parking lot at 1015 Louisiana Avenue.
April 4, 2026 – Community Hike
1:30 pm, Edgewood Spur and Capital City High School Greenways
Join us for a longer, more strenuous hike of about 2.5 miles on the greenways around Capital City High School and the Edgewood Spur. Trails are paved but include hills. Meet at the parking lot at 2953 W. Edgewood Drive.
May 2, 2026 – Community Hike
9:00 am, Frog Hollow Eastern Loop
Join us for a rough-terrain hike through the woods of about 1-mile around the eastern loop of the Frog Hollow Trail! Meet at the parking lot at 2953 W. Edgewood Drive.
June 7, 2026 – Community Hike
1:30 pm, Riverside Park – Lewis and Clark State Office Building
Join us for a 2-mile out-and-back hike between Riverside Park and the Lewis and Clark State Office Building. The main group will hike out on the rough gravel trail through the woods and return on the greenway. Or, choose the family-friendly accessible paved greenway trail for both legs! Meet at the parking lot at 1505 Riverside Drive.
July 12, 2026 – Community Hike
7:00 pm, McKay Lake Park
Join us for an evening stroll around the .6-mile family-friendly accessible paves McKay Lake trail. Complete as many loops as you want! Meet at the parking lot that is closest to the dam, at the end of Sunset lake Road.
August 2, 2026 – Community Hike
7:00 pm, Serenity Point/Noren Access – North Jefferson
Join us for an evening stroll for a short .25-mile on the nature trail to Turkey Creek. Meet at the Noren Access parking lot, below the Highway 62/54 river bridge at the end of Cottonwood Street in North Jefferson. Follow the Missouri Department of Conservation signs for the Noren Access.
