Once again, we be selling photos of parks and trails during our annual fundraiser at the MU Extension in Cole County Fall Festival. Stop by our booth with the green awning right outside the door of the main exhibit hall!
The Fairgrounds are at 1445 Fairgrounds Rd, Jefferson City, MO 65109.
September 15, 2024 – Community Hike
1:30 pm, Washington Park Greenway
Meet in the ice arena parking lot. Bring plenty of water and a light snack.
September 18, 2024 – Monthly Meeting
5:00 pm, Last Flight Brewing Co.
Join us for our monthly meeting. All are welcome! Plan to sit outside, weather permitting.
Last Flight Brewing Co. is located at 738 Heisinger Road.
October 5, 2024 – Get Acquainted Hike
1:30 pm, Three Creeks Conservation Area
Join us for a hike around the Three Creeks Conservation Area, halfway between Ashland and Columbia! From Hwy 63, turn west on Deer Park Road and travel for 1.75 miles. Deer Park Road is about 5 miles south of Columbia.
Meet in the parking lot where the road dead-ends. Bring plenty of water and a light snack. Bug spray may be needed, depending on the weather. It is also fall turkey season, so wear bright colors!
October 20, 2024 – Community Hike
1:30 pm, Frog Hollow
Explore the western end of the Frog hollow trail or choose the accessible greenway along Edgewood Boulevard!
Meet at the memorial bench directly across from the street from Anytime Fitness. Bring plenty of water and a light snack. Also bring bug spray if you plan to hike the trail.
