May 1 – June 30, 2025 – Trails Less Traveled Challenge

Join us for JC Park’s annual Trails Less Traveled Challenge! This free event takes hikers, walkers, and joggers to 8 parks around the city. Participants have through June 30, 2025 to complete all 8 hikes.

Visit the JC Parks’ Trails Less Traveled webpage to register, pick either the Trail Traveler or Accessible Adventure, and download the challenge card. Then send JC Parks a selfie with your card during or after your hike to enter the prize drawing! Prizes will be drawn Tuesday, July 1, 2025. May 21, 2025 – Monthly Meeting

5:00 pm, Last Flight Brewing Co.

Join us for our monthly meeting. All are welcome!

Last Flight Brewing Co. is located at 738 Heisinger Road. Meeting will be outside if weather permits.

May 26, 2025 – Get Acquainted Hike

4:00 pm, Scrivner Road Conservation Area

Join us for a hike around Scrivner Road Conservation Area, located three miles south of Russellville. More details soon!

Leashed dogs welcomed. Bring a light snack, plenty of water, and bug spray.

June 7, 2025 – Community Hike & National Trails Day

9:00 am, Greenway

Celebrate National Trails Day by joining us on a 2-mile family friendly stroll on the greenway between the Jefferson City High School driving range and Aurora Park! The route is paved but will include some shady strenuous hill climbs.

Meet at the Jefferson City High School driving range off of Holiday Drive. Bring plenty of water and a light snack.

July 12, 2025 – Community Hike

9:00 am, North Jefferson City

Join us on a 1/2-mile stroll through the Master Gardeners Area and Community Gardens, with an option to continue to Noren Access. The route includes both paved and unpaved areas.

Meet at the former Bill Quigg Commons (now the North Jefferson Recreation Area) on the way to Noren Access. Bring plenty of water, a light snack or brunch (picnic tables and a small shelter are available), and bug spray.

August 9, 2025 – Community Hike

900 am, Green Berry Acres

Join us for a 1/2-mile hike at Green Berry Acres! The route is on rough terrain and includes a steep hill down to the Moreau River, so be sure to wear closed-toe shoes with tread.

Meet in the parking lot at the Green Berry Acres cabin, located at 1915 Green Berry Road. Bring plenty of water, a light snack, and bug spray.
